This pattern is pre-dominately tan with a few hints of black and brown jute. It consists of a bug-proof mesh with 3/4″ netting attached to it. The mesh allows great air circulation to keep you cool.

The Ultra Light Ghillie Suit has the same foundation as our Ghillie Jacket and Pants except that it uses a synthetic thread instead of natural jute. This makes the suit weigh only an incredible 3.5 lbs.

Question from a customer: I’ve been looking for some Ghillie Gloves to go with my Ghillie Suit but have not found them. Do you sell Ghillie Gloves?
As far as I know, there are no ghillie gloves available on the market now. Most ghillie suits have sleeves that come up to the wrist and the length of the threads are sufficient to cover the hand.
I can suggest a simple way to make your own ghillie glove. Purchase a camoflage patterned glove like the one shown and get some jute and attach it directly to the glove.
Attach the jute to the back hand portion of the glove only up to the knuckle area. Make the jute threads between 2″ to 6″ only. I would not recommend putting any on the back finger portion. There’s no need to attach thread any part of the palm or fingers. If you need jute thread you can purchase one of our ghillie kits. The 5 lb. ghillie kit would be overkill for just doing gloves. Our Ghillie rifle kit is our smallest kit available.

3D Leaf Ghillie Suits are different than the standard jute or synthetic thread suits. If you are looking for this type of suit, you want to purchase the Chameleon Ghillie Suit. This suit uses mainly synthetic fabric cut into leaf like shapes that are weaved throughout the netting.
The 3D camoflage ghillie suit is great for hunting in areas where there is dense foliage. It will blend in better than the jute thread suits in both shape and texture. You can combine the suit with the Chameleon Rifle Wrap and the Chameleon Face Veil.
Here’s a nice side by side by side comparison of a couple Ghillie Jackets. These jackets are all handmade so there will be pattern and color differences among even the same brand jackets.
The Bushrag Woodland is greener than the Light Weight Ghillie’s All Season. The Bushrag Mossy has more white and black in it. The All Season color pattern is in-between the Bushrag Woodland and Mossy. The Light Weight’s Mossy color is more brown and closer to a desert color.

The Bushrag Chameleon Ghillie Suit is an ultra-light Weight one piece Ghillie Suit that weighs less than 3 lbs. and covers from head to boot. The leg portion is more like a raincoat bottom that covers you completely down to your toe. This is not a one piece jumpsuit. There are no zippers or buttons to step into it. The photo below shows the Woodland pattern.
The suit is put on as you would put on a poncho. In fact, it is basically an long poncho that runs down to the ground.
This synthetic suit contains more than 700 synthetic camo-leaves. The leaves are tied into the netting. The netting and sythentic leaves provide good air circulation so the suit is cooler than traditional ghillie suits. It is also fire and water resistant.

It comes with a large amount of additional leaves and plenty of jute in many colors (shown below) so that it can be adapted to better match your specific terrain.
